We’ve turned the page from 2020 into 2021, and it seems clear that this new year comes with continued challenges that linger from last year, but also arrives replete with fresh opportunities that lie ahead. For those in ministry, this past year has likely proven to be full of the unexpected and may have even been discouraging and draining.

One of the ways we love to support our friends in ministry is by capturing their story and using it to inspire our readers toward the work of the ministry. We caught up with Zac West with Jacksonville Young Life this past week and are excited for you to hear how the Lord is using this challenging season to grow trust in his providence but also inspire innovation and creativity. 

Recently we spoke with Matt Williams. He leads the ministry of Athletes in Action (part of the Cru family of ministries) in the city of Indianapolis, where the Mats.org headquarters is located. Our goal was to learn what drives Matt and his team to reach and disciple college athletes.

The folks at Tinker Coffee are the epitome of what you’d call an expert. They source coffees from all over the world to their roastery in Indianapolis then use heat, air, and motion to roast the green coffee into brewable beans.

Earlier this year, we had the privilege to be a small part in something much bigger than our Indiana based auto operation. We were contacted by the awesome folks at GAiN, the humanitarian arm of Cru, as they were gearing up to head to Wilmington, North Carolina in response to the disasters caused by Hurricane Florence.

We have a long history of partnering with the CRU organization which is part of why we get so excited to attend the vendor fair every year.  If you don’t know them, CRU (Campus Crusades for Christ) is an awesome international ministry passionate about connecting people to Jesus.
