Today we are going to de-bunk that myth!

Cars are way better than they used to be

The technology has advanced and they’re just built better.

Cars are no longer nearing the end of their life at 100K anymore

In fact, like a good pair of shoes, some vehicles are just being broken in at 100,000 miles.

What matters more than the miles is the AGE of the vehicle.

For example, many people assume that a 2011 car with less than 100K miles is better than a 2020 car with more than 100K miles, and that isn’t the case.

The 2020 car is better and not just because “newer is better”, but because of the condition of that vehicle.

Assuming a 2011 car with under 100,000 miles is still good is a myth because age matters more than miles.

You might think you’re getting a good car because you’re staying under 100,000 miles but you’re not because it’s a 14-year-old car.

We aren’t necessarily opposed to a 2011 car, but that depends on other factors like the source it was purchased from, how it was driven, and the vehicle’s overall condition.

But in general, you’re better off buying a newer vehicle with higher miles than a much older vehicle with less than 100,000 miles.
