Let’s talk about pricing and the notorious need to haggle over your car sale.

Imagine you’re at the grocery store. You need milk, bananas, apples, and a few items for tonight’s dinner. After grabbing the produce, you head to the cooler section for milk and find that it is full price today. That is to say, the milk is priced at market value.

The MATS car-buying model heavily focuses on minimizing our clients’ risk purchasing vehicles. We do this in a few ways.

The mission of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation is to advance the awareness and treatment of Angelman syndrome through education and information, research, and support for individuals with Angelman syndrome, their families and other concerned parties.

1. Fill up with gas the night before & pack your non-essentials so you’re ready to leave first thing.

2. If you’re traveling with children, take toys they haven’t seen before or haven’t played with in a long time to entertain them in a car.

3. We all love junk food, but consider packing a couple of healthy snacks too so your body doesn’t feel awful when you get where you’re going.

Recently, we had the privilege of visiting one of our long-time ministry partners, New Life Centers in Chicago. New Life Centers was born in 2006, out of New Life Church, when members were given a vision to get outside of the four walls of the Church and love their neighbors.

The organization has grown tremendously since then!

We have some exciting news we’re eager to share with you. Beginning May 1st we welcomed Sara Trombley as the new President of MATS. She will be leading the company, alongside Amy Warner, our Director of Purchasing. Josh Nottingham, who has served as President for nearly 20 years, will remain involved as Owner of MATS. 

Today we are going to de-bunk that myth! Cars are way better than they used to be. The technology has advanced and they’re just built better. Cars are no longer nearing the end of their life at 100K anymore. In fact, like a good pair of shoes, some vehicles are just being broken in at 100,000 miles. What matters more than the miles is the AGE of the vehicle.

1. In 2023, MATS delivered vehicles to 33 out of the 50 states!

2. MATS employs 19 staff and 12 drivers. 5 of our employees have worked in vocational ministry at some point in their careers.

3. As far as we know, there isn’t a dealer or broker doing exactly what we do. When buying a house, most people get help from a realtor. We believe the same should be true of buying a car.
